Default need advice!!!!

Im about to order a window motor for my driver side window of my 84. Well i looked at auto zone and they did a search for my car to see if they had ne window motors that would work for my car. I also went to Ecklers. THe ones at auto zone were $30 less then the one at Ecklers but there were two different kinds... they only had 9 tooth and 12 tooth... I was wounderin if i could use either of those motors for my window because they r so much cheaper and more convient to get. :flag :steering:

My parts book makes no mention of "teeth". It shows the 1984-85, "motor, window lift", as part number, 22039707. The regulator part number is the same as the numbers listed for the 1986-90 cars. My book doesn't show this, but I believe that the "ribbon style" regulator was superceded by the gear type. Also, my book shows an "armature kit, window lift", as part number, 22039046, in case you are interested in making repairs. This book was printed in 1989. All numbers are subject to supercession and/or being discontinued. Based on the above, it is my guess that either of the motors you found will work, if you use your old gear. You may want to investigate, further. Good luck, and...
