Default '85 headlight doors/ solutions?

lh will open rh will not. new door relays, isolation relay, light switch, & rebuilt rh door motor. voltages at various positions on trouble tree are still incorrect. grounds are clean & tight, wiring that can be seen seems to be in good shape. if starting both doors from 1/2 open position with weatherpack conn. separated & light switch in off position, then plug in lh conn. that door will close, as it should. then plug in rh conn. & that door will open which it should not. if starting both doors from 1/2 open position with weatherpack conn. separated & light switch in head position (lights on), then plug in lh conn. that door will open,as it should. then plug in rh conn. & that door will close which it should not. also with car shut down and cold lh door relay is warm to the touch not hot but warm. any thoughts or help would be appreciated

A DC motor is pretty simple. If you want it to reverse direction just reverse polarity. Not sure how or why it got off, but in the motor connector there are three wires on an 85. One of them is ground and the other two apply 12v for up and down control. Sounds like they have been reversed on the motor that goes the wrong way. Since that is the rebuilt motor I would think they wired the two 12v lines backwards when they put the connector on.
