:iagree: O2 is $35-50 bucks depending on where you get it. Changed mine about a month ago and it made a big difference on overall performance. :thumbs:
Your car is probably running lean due to a bad 02 and that will trigger high temp.
If this is the case, changing the O2 sensor is easy from what I understand. Haven't done it myself, though. If I were you, I'd dig in and change the sensor yourself ... you'll save some bucks and learn something new :thumbs:
After you change it, disconnect the batt. for 5 min. then take it out for for a ride min. 1/2 hour you should se a huge diff. and hopefully no new codes. :thumbs:
Just changed all four on mine because I pulled a code. It took about 35 minutes but I had access to a lift. They are not that hard to change even if you have to do it in the driveway or garage. Good Luck.
