What does the Body Computer Module (BCM) on '93 control?

Lisa is my sister-in-law and her Vette has been at the dealer for two months and the part(#88999216) is back ordered until Sept 23. I'd hate for her to wait any longer only to find out that didn't solve her problem :mad

The BCM controls the VATS, Alarm, Odometer, LCD Display and all options for the car.
Did you check the car for codes??
I did not think the BCM would cause the car to run bad since the motor is controlled by the ECM

That was my thought also. My brother got a code 16 but Dealer claims it isn't the opti or ECM.
Anybody have any GM connections to get the part quicker?

Since the Dealer has the Vette, Ask them what codes they got. I am sure they would give you that info. Try and get them and post them here
