Just one last thing; I'm told there is a SMALL Supercharger unit that can be sat where the AIR pump lives...This would be a MUCH more fun alternative to ANY other suggestions!
any supercharger the size of the air pump would be useless. maybe it would work on a motorcycle, not a 350.
I have seen some that were built for VW's. my buddy was talking to them about it. The fed him a bunch of BS. saying it would fit there as well.
They were suppoe to have a system that was a small pump that would drive a hydrolic system to a remote blower that could be mounted where it would fit. I believe I saw something like it mounted on a pickup at the turbo show. never read anything about it since that 3 -4 years ago. must not work to well.

I'm told they work; prob only about 3pounds boost and they'd have a small pulley to facillitate that. They're about AU$1000 and some don't need an intercooler.
I'll ask the guy who's installed them to try and post the data here.
ATI rates there p600b supercharger at 24 lbs boost but there taking about a 4 cylinder applcation ...we only see 10lb at best............maybe that three pounds is on a motorcycle. :chevy
