Problems with my baby........
I'm about to go to college and I have alot of problems with my vett and no money.
1) I was drving one day and my LCD screen and all my electronics flickered then my whole car died. Havent been able to start it since.
2) For some reason my gears are all a little off by one , ex I CAN NOT get it into park, Reverse is Neutral, Neutral is Drive drive is OD etc.
3) How hard or expenisve is it to get the emergency brake fixed?!?!
4) How expensve is it to get freon for your Air condition?
5) My car was broken into 2x where can i get a new cheap top?
Thats all for now.....PLease HELP I have to have my car up and running for school

1. kinda sounds like a wiring short, youll have to track that down. Could be a dead ECM, battery, alternator, etc.
2. Shift linkage is screwed up somehow, I hope.
3. dont know, shouldnt be hard
4. depends on whether you have R12 or R134a, R134a is dirt cheap, R12 aint
5. Contemporary corvette or any junkyard that has a vette in it, wouldnt expect it to be cheap tho

It may be a ground wire that connects to your tranny's bellhousing has broke or come off....There are a few that are clumped together and I believe one of them is for the ECM....Good Luck
P.S. Didn't look to see what year car you have but my guess is it would be atleast $250 for a top but more lkely more.... :nonod:
