Default Wiper problem, Question

Wipers run normally at times, then, won’t run except on high. Also, won’t park for a couple of minutes after turning off. I don’t fee it’s the motor or the door switch. I think it is in the park switch in the wiper motor. If I giggle the connector at the motor, it starts to work. Connection is clean and OK How hard is it to get the switch out of the motor?

It is not that difficult at all. I had similar problems, but it ended up being the motor itself. I figured this out after I took the motor off, exchanged the park switch, put it all bcak together and back into the Vette...*LOL* Seriously, it is no problem at all. the most difficult part of all is getting to the motor to remove it from the Vette. On a scale of 1-10, I would rate changing the plugs a 7...working on the wiper motor, about a 2. Good luck! :chevy

No, you don't have to remove the wiper motor from the car to replace the park switch. You can get to it easily by removing the black plastic cover from the wiper motor. When you remove the old park switch, make sure to look to see how everything goes together. It took me a little while to figure out how it fits into the motor.

OK, thanks. With my luck, I'll probably drop something and never get it together. :withstupid:
