[Update] TPS and MAT readings...
I then applied a vice grip to it to twist the rest of it out and guess what happens next. The remainder of the bolt snaps off leaving the rest of what's flush inside the TB left. I know this isn't such a big deal since "ncider" is coming over this week to remove the rest of the bolt out with a bolt extractor.
After all this I decided to remove the TB to make removing the bolt later a little more easier. And I figured while it's out I might as well do the TB coolant bypass thing.
Now here's what I found out. If I ground the TPS to the manifold, the TPS and the MAT sensor appear to read correctly with no fluctuations whatsoever like before. When I disconnect the ground, the MAT sensor reads -4.6 . AHA! That's what it would occasionally read before when the whole TPS/TB setup was bolted up 2 days ago. If what I'm thinking is correct, the ground to the TPS must have been loose or not making appropriate contact thereby causing the TPS and the MAT sensor to be sending incorrect info the the ECM which would explain the fluctuations we were getting 2 days ago.
Now, if I could only get the broken bolt out of the TB sooner so I can put everything back together and see how she runs.
