Default 3/8" versus 7/16" stud?

I recently bought a set of 1.6 roller rockers & found out (the hard way) I had 7/16" studs instead of 3/8". The roller rockers (3/8" type) looked so small next to my 7/16" type. So my question is what is the differance? Do I have a better set up since I have 7/16" studs?

Yes. Less valvetrain flex.

Indeed 7/16" is better, especially if you are going to higher RPM. Less flex means more consistent and higher valve lift.

Hopefully you can return the current RRs in exchange for ones for those studs.

I bought them from Jegs. I shouldnt have any problems returning them as I just want to exchange them for the 7/17" 1.6's. Thanks for the info guys!
