While removing the knock sensors for a coolant flush, one sensor did not want to come out. As I continued to apply torque the center portion of the sensor began to rotate while the outer cylindrical portion decided not to rotate. What the =&%$#. I was able to remove the knock sensor only after applying the YES last but not least Vice Grips to the round portion. I had match marked the knock sensor to be able to reinstall it back in the same place. I returned everything back to its original rotational postion. Am I good to go? Time to buy a new sensor? Someone once told me that rotational position of the knock sensor is important. How important is it? A simple coolant flush turned bad. Any advice is appreciated . Thanks
