Just found this link here.....I am assuming this is new. I have always liked borla but my friend had the regular borlas on his c4 and it was too quiet for me. I hear from the c5ers that these are really loud, maybe race mufflers or something?? Just wondering if anyone has tried them yet or has a sound clip i would really like to hear them!!

Nice looking system. I am however very pleased with my "new" sound since ditching the resonator, and installing an h pipe.. I have a friend with Borla on his 96 Impala, and he ditched the resonator and put in an h pipe. Sounds menacing! :yesnod:

Nice looking system. I am however very pleased with my "new" sound since ditching the resonator, and installing an h pipe.. I have a friend with Borla on his 96 Impala, and he ditched the resonator and put in an h pipe. Sounds menacing! :yesnod:

No resonator to ditch on L98s..... :nonod: I did get rid of my precats though.....

I just like the look of that car! The car, rims and exhaust are all PERFECT!
BTW: $600 is a little pricy..they Y-pipe is $200...then just put a set of Dynomax Race Bullets on the back of each side ($35 each). That's basically what the Borla Stinger's are. I do like those tips though... :thumbs:

Exactly what is the difference between stinger borla mufflers and the regular borla mufflers? I know they look a little different but do they just have a different note or have better flow #s??

The Y-pipe seems reasonable. But the mufflers! WOAH! Would 2.5" inlet Flowmasters fit on that Y-pipe? You can get a complete MagnaFlow Catback for $409 on eBay.

Dr.Gas will make you one to your specs for $195. they'll also make an "X" pipe for you, but that may produce a raspier, more NASCAR like sound. I fabbed my own "H" pipe and saved a few $'s

My borla sounds like butt and I have no idea why. It's loud as hell, but not deep at all, and nothing like that signature "Borla" sound. Every other borla I've heard has been raspy, especially on decel. Mine's nothing like that. It's loud as hell tho. At 2k rpm the drone is horrible.
