I noticed that the body seems to tilt to the drivers side. I measured from the top of the rear tire to the bottom of the wheel well and sure enough there is about a one inch difference. I put 4 newshocks on it and no help. I took it to my mechanic, he looked it over for 2 days and came up with nothing. He said nothing is worn out, everything measures ok, it just tilts... I'm stumped, any ideas?

My '85 was about 3/4" higher on the right front than the left when I got
it a couple years ago. I don't know the history of the car, but I took the
entire front end apart to rebuild/restore and found that there were more
shims under the right side hood hinge than the left. When I put the hood
and body panels back on I left out some of the shims on the right and
re-aligned the bumper, hood and fenders and it is less than a quarter
inch off now. Looks much better.
