Default Tall Valve Covers, will they interfere?

Getting my stroker motor built and the valve covers are an 1-1/2” taller than stock, can anyone tell me if this will interfere with anything?

If they are just tall valve covers you will probably have trouble with the alternator going back on. I had to get some that were made to fit our cars. I can't remember where I got them right now. Someone on this forum posted a link to them when I was looking. I have a 93 and I think your's is the same as mine. The one's I've got make 2 steps inward so that they are not as long at the top as they are at the bottom.

Thanks Ronnie,

Does anyone have any pics of an LT1/4 motor with the taller covers on it?

I have an L98 so I'm sure things are different, but I put on covers that are about a 1/4" taller than stock and on my car thats probably all you can get away with without modifying at least the AC bracket.

I put this question out there once before. You will definatly have to loose the rear alternator bracket. Apparently there is no adverse effects, even with a stroker motors extra tq.
The club member who new a lot on this subject was from texas and has a GS clone with a 383. I'll know his sig when I see it.
