I just had my front end lowered on my car today and noticed the car looks funny. My mom saw the same thing before several weeks back but I thought it might have been the ground it was on. The car is clearly unlevel and its pissing me off. The FR is about 1/8" higher than the FL from the center of the wheel to the wheel well. I can live with that. But the RR is a whole 1/2" off and that's AFTER I used the lowering kit bolts and tried to compensate. Before, it was like 3/4". What's the deal? The shocks are about 2 years old and are broken in. The only other thing I would think would cause this are bad springs. Its like the whole left side of the car is lower than the right. What do you guys think? Is this a sign I need new springs? I have about 120k on the car.
This "lean", does it affect only certain C4's or only when the driver is in it or anything? Or does it affect ALL C4's? Just seems to me that a lot of others that I've seen looked level but mine was off. Then again, I've been told I drink too much, too.
This has been knocked around several times in the last week or so. I'm to lazy to do a search for you though, so you're on your own. Popular consensus is it's "normal"
As Jack mentioned, even the Guru Gordon won't touch this one. I asked him about it when I met him last fall, he just smiled wryly and changed the subject without even trying to answer.

Re: Springs going bad? (larryfs)
you sway bar may be preloaded to one side.
unbolt the end links and see what happens.
:D Not because of the lean, but to improve handling, I changed front and rear sway bars, adjusted end links, etc. Even modified end links to stay vertical while accomodating a larger bar
