Default Hypertech PPIII question

Well, we all know that the performance program is useless, and once loaded in a vehicle it can't be used in another one unless the stock program is reloaded into the car. But, I am using it only for fans, shift points, and gear change speedo correction. Can I use it for another vehicle for these things?

No, the vehicle must be returned to stock or when you try to use it on another vehicle it will tell you that the VIN from the original vehicle is still loaded. Also, once it is used, even when the original vehicle is returned to stock it can only be reused on another vehicle of the same year and model. I found this out the hard way, I bought one here from a forum member who had not returned his vehicle to stock (though he said he did), after calling hypertech they gave me the above info and I ended up buying a new PPIII.
