I wasn't able to get the power antenna to work after getting rid of the bose and putting in a kenwood, so now i plan on going straight for the relay and running a cable from there. I searched the forum and found three posts about this all saying that the relay should be under the rear trim, all i found was the hatch poper relay.
I have the GM service manual and it has a picture of the relay but i can't figure out where it is?

Re: Power Antenna Relay (polishdevil)
It’s usually within 2 feet of the antenna. I have a convertible, and it’s in the rear corner of the convertible top compartment on the driver’s side. I would guess the coupe relay would be in the same general area. I’m going to take a wild guess and say it’s behind the rear speaker on the driver’s side.
The factory service manual should tell you where all the components are located on or in the chassis.
On my '88 and '86, the antenna relay was underneath the rear deck trim (center piece) on the driver side, about half way between the hatch solenoid and the outside edge of the car. It was mounted to the back of the inside of the body, of I remember. If you follow the power wires from your antenna from where it enters the interior in the back corner of the interior, underneath the trim pieces, it will lead to the relay.
I hope this helps.

#2 of your diagram indicates storage bracket. Check down in the bottom of your storage compartment behind the driver’s seat. The connection in the picture may just be a junction point with the body harness that will meet up with the relay further downstream.
