Ok I have no idea what this could be. Taking ideas.
On the highway after 2300rpms, when I put a load on the engine (1/2 way on the gas or so) I start getting a vibration or resonance or something from what it feels like the middle of the car underneath, driveshaft or something.
It just started getting noticeable the past week or so.
Does the same in 2nd at 3K and 3rd at 3K rpms.
It is not suspension related I think, as when coasting at any speed it never does it.
I recently had put in a Dana44 in the car, all new spicer u-joints that looked very good. Manual driveshaft also with new u-joints.
Re: Wierd vibration issue under load in gear. (MrNuke)
maybe loose t. converter bolt, I had a crack in a harnonic balancer on my SS, felt like you described till it let go. then all hell broke loose.
Check U-joints, flywheel, anything that rotiates.
Re: Wierd vibration issue under load in gear. (MrNuke)
Is there a way to tell if a harmonic balancer is on its' way out?
Heah man, this might sound stupid but do you think that maybe your drive shaft is out of balance?
I too had a bolt missing one time flex plate and it caused a woobleing vibration on the car at curtain speeds.
Just a thought, probably usless info from me.
