Default Acrylic Top Repair

I have read in several posts that flaked and scratched tops can be repaired by being wet sanded by a body shop. I can't seem to find any one around here who is willing to do that- including the local vette repair shop. Does anyone know of a place in the Tampa Bay area that will do this?
Thanks-

It's not really a repair, but more of a removal of the protective/UV coating that is on all the factory tops. I did this myself one weekend and it did turn out quite nice. Used 1500 wet, then 2000 wet and then polish. You will loose the UV protection by doing this (carpet and other interior will fade if left in sun for long periods). That top has since cracked and gone away thanks to the SoCal roads.
