Default 52mmThrottlebody

I have a 92 auto. With these mods. 3.73s.Hypertech II 160 Thermostat K&N.Cutlid.TBbypass.Underdrive pulleys.Hooker shortys Highflowcats Corsa catback. Am i ready for a 52mm Throttlebody or would it not help. If not the TB.What should my next mod be .I just did all this so $$ gettin tight. no heads manifold or cams please. What do ya think it will run in 1/4 mile now .It ran 14 flat at 100 mph all stock with 2.56s hot & muggy day. hopefully better this time with the mods and the weather being cooller.

It should run low 13's. maybe a high 12 in good conditions with Drag Radials.

Think about a convertor next.

I bought a 52mm TB only because my stock one had started to wear at the throttle shaft and was sucking air in through the gaps. Unless you need one for reasons like this I think your money is better spent elsewhere. It won't make any noticeable gains.

I agree, save your hard earned bucks and don't bother with the TB until you have a NEED for additional air.

Someone mentioned considering a higher stall torque converter. Look into that....around 2400 stall, no less.

I would guestimate your 1/4 mile times realistically with your present mods would be in the high 13's at best, as the only mod that is actually doing anything for you right now is the gears.
