I need rear shocks on my 94 C4, it does not have Z51 or FX ride control. I have Bilsteins on it now, what should I replace them with, I do not auto X and I do not want to change the ride height. This seems like an easy thing to do myself, will I run into any problems along the way? I saw in ecklers the Bilsteins for $79.00 a piece and $109.00 a piece. Any input ?
Thanks in advance
KYB's would be my choice too. They are a step up from the standard FE1 Delco-Bilstein shock. You can get them from Summit Racing http://www.summitracing.com for $27 each.
I have KYB's on front and they are very adaquate for my daily routine (no racing on tracks). Believe it or not, I have Monroe sensi-shocks on rear, but I mean to change that soon. hehe- Only reason I haven't, is that they were almost brand new when I bought the vette. still, I handle pretty well, regardless.
