should i get a custom chip?
since most of my emissions equipment is half-assed, would it be a good idea to just get a custom chip that bypasses the EGR and charcoal can, etc?
the temp sensor for my EGR is disconnected because of the headers, among other things
can the car run properly with a chip designed NOT to use EGR and all that?

Well you can if you want to. Are you setting an EGR code? You can turn off the EGR error in the ECM so that it won't bother you anymore.

Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question, but I just wanted to say that I really like the look of your vette. I don't normally prefer vettes that have "too much" going on, visually, but yours looks very nice. :)

Re: (vader86)
well,
the EGR temp sensor is disconnected and i was told the car will never run right until it is - ie it richens the mixture up
its probably easier to just bypass the EGR and most of the other emissions control.. right?
