TB Cleaning question
Once again, going through the tech tips for newbies like me and I saw something about cleaning the throttle body. No problem, its on my to-do list. But I also think maybe cleaning the upper plenum would be a good idea too, and I want to do it without taking it off. So to be creative, think it'd work to spray a bunch of TB cleaner in there and inhale it out of there with a shop-vac, or am I being stupid?
On an unrelated note, is there any last minute stuff I can do to boost power and improve my terrible idle and missing problem? Going to firebird raceway in a couple hours...

Sparying TB cleaner into the plenum won't realy help much in cleaning. You need to remove it and either scrub it good or have it hot dipped.
A hunting idle could be due to a dirty or faulty IAC; you might pull it and do some cleaning along with the TB.
If an L98, check plugs, wires and dist cap for a missing problem.
Good luck at Firebird in this weather combined with the altitude. Anyway, enjoy some beers after the passes.
