new fuel pump for nitrous?
has anyone changed there fuel pump or added an extra one i am looking to go bigger on the nitrous and im told i need a better feul pump setup?i have a fuel pressure gauge and its around 40psi at wot is that enuff i never see it drop unless just sitting still its around 38psi should i get an adjustable fuel pressure regulater to start should it be higher like 50psi or so?

Change your fuel filter. If your car is stock and you're spraying a 100 or less you should be okay. You definately do not want to run lean.

I added a Racetronix unit ( http://www.moreperformanceinc.com ). Look under Fuel.
It truly is the easiest mod for a C4 Vette. Takes about 45 minutes (even with adding the upgraded wiring) and the peace of mind is priceless.

im using 150 and thinking of more
FWIW, if you increase the fuel pressure the Nitrous will run fat. I would expect your fuel pressure to be in the 42-44 range stock though (without the vacuum connected). The Walbro GSS340 (high presure) or the GSS307 are the pumps you want if you are planning on upgrading the stock in-tank pump.

thanx for the info on the pumps (The Walbro GSS340 (high presure) or the GSS307 are the pumps you want if you are planning on upgrading the stock in-tank pump.)and if the motor blows i have great credit with visa and mastercard and discover and amex

i love the way the car feels when the 150 hits i cant wait to try 200 i might have to do it to the stock motor to blow it so i can build the new one :crazy:
