Ignition switch accessory position- update
In a previous post I (perhaps foolishly) asked how to listen to the radio with the ignition off.
Some people were surprised that I didnt know to turn the key backwards for this, but on mine it didn't turn that way at all. I had given up on this one (more stuff than that to fix), but before leaving it I squirted some engine oil in and around there there, and moved on.
Well today I thought I would try it again- and the stupid thing works! Not only that but the whole lock feels smooth and slick like new! Just a small tip , probably a bit of maintenance people tend to forget.
(The manual recommends 5w-30 synthetic by the way, -but I think you could get away with dino) :D
