How tired are you?
I have the stock GSC's but was thinking of going with better performing tires for next season. Any recommendations? I have heard that Yokohama makes good tires. They look good too!

Firestone Firehawks and Kuhmo's are real good replacement tyres.

I'm running Kuhmo Ecsta MX's on my car. The Kuhmo's are fairly quiet, cheap, handle really well, but if let set for a week tend to flat-spot.

Re: How tired are you? (95AquaC4)
I have been running my Toyo T1-S, 18's rear , 17's front, for about a year now. I haven't been to the track yet, as many of you know, but I can get on it & on dry surface, they grip very well. They are much better than the Falkans I had on when I bought the car. I have heard good things about Yokahama also. I will say this, Toyo's aren't cheap. fronts $250 / rears $350. For me, at least. I went to Les Schwab. That was installed, balanced, etc.

 really tired, and burnt out
check these guys out
http://www.tirerack.com
i found em online and i think i will get my next set of tires from them (no im not a sales rep or any crap like that) but they do have an excellent comparisson listing layout and have lots of posts from people that bought them and responded on the tires they've bought there. looks like a decent site to me.

`If you have 11" rims in the back you will be limited to what you can put on it. But If you have 9.5 I would go with the Kumho MX's.

Same tires here; same flat-spots. And it takes 4 - 5 miles to heat up the tires and eliminate the flat spots...
Also, I'm gonna have to re-think my Winter storage strategy...Jackstands, maybe...
If $$$ is no object, I'd do like Scorp508 did: Goodyear F1's...(I think he has F1's)...
But I'm cheap, so it was the Kumhos...(it was $87 ea + $48 S&H to me back in June from TireRack)...
BTW: These are really quality-controlled tires...So much so that the balancing showed just how bad the Enkei Vette wheels are)...

There's nothing *wrong* with them. They just don't seem to be available in 16" and cost $100 more per tire than Kumhos.
If the $400 you spend over & above the Kumhos doesn't bother you, then go for it!!!
