Need help quick! Installing head bolts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok I'm ready to install my heads but I ran into a problem. The head bolts I have came in three different lenghts. 16 short bolts, 4 mid size bolts, and 14 long bolts. I know the 16 short bolts go along the bottom of the heads, but I don't know where the mid sized bolts go???? Any ideas???

The middle ones go in the very outter edge holes on each head. If the head is in front of you there are teh far left and far right holes that are next to the valve springs.
Here is a trick my dad told me if you aren't sure what goes where. Drop a bolt into each hole and you should see the same amount of the bolt sticking out of each hole before you have to stat turning it into the threads. For ease of explanation if each bolt is in its correct hole you'd be able to measure lets say 1" from the hole to the top of the bolt. If you had a long bolt in a middle bolt hole you'd have 2".

Make sense?
Thank you very much for the quick reply Scorp!!!!! Now back to my heads.
