[92] Auto, No park.
Just what the title says. When i put the car in park (P) it shifts into reverse, it also goes reverse in R. Any ideas, i have aprt of the car apart, and i think but i can't remember but it hink it drives in neutral. I'll put enough of it back together so i can find out for sure when i get home from work.

Check the shifter cable.

Well i did a whole hell of a lot of work for nothing. I don't know how i missed it but it was so easy to fix. It actually my laziness. My cat back exhaust broke on me a while ago, like before the 4th of july so i just took it off. Well the noise and location of the exit of the exhaust has been shaking the car up pretty good, so good that it has actually rattled some of the tranny pan bolts right out. One of them was on of the ones holding the linkage to the tranny, on donor bolt from dead for now truck transmission and problem solved. Oh well i guess its good to take your console apart you seats out and various trim pieces for no reason. Especially when you had to stay up to almost 4 in the morning so you can get up for 6:45 :banghead: .
