Also keep an eye on ebay for the "Pocket Programmer" or "Pocket Programmer 2". I see them there every once in a while. Also, don't forget the Sale/Wanted sections here.
I've used both and can tell you they are both fantastic for EPROM and EEPROM programming.

If you are looking to pick up a burner try one of these.. I am using one now and it works great cheaper than the pocket programmer as well only $79.00 http://www.futurlec.com/EPROMProg.shtml

yes it comes with a cable and software.... It doesnt comer with a power supply but i picked one of those up at Radio Shack.... I like mine i have burned dozens of chips with it. No problems so far

ok, I'm probly gonna get tha in the next couple of days. Thanks for letting me know about this thing! I already have NICE UV earaser and CATS. SO i get this thinga and the power supply i should be ready to roll.

One other question about this programmer. i know when using pocket programmer you don't need to deal with binary or any of that crap. It's all windows based programs to program type of deal. Is it the same senario with this one?

Well i bought it. :) All i need is the adapter for the prom. the thing that lets you leave the prom on the chip. Looks like a wire leg adapater. Where do i get one of those??
