Ok it must be some kind of short somewhere. All the car does is crank but doesn't start. I have good spark as well as fuel but still i get only a crank. But the weird thing is that i went out and unplugged the vaccum line to FPR and the thing started right up and ran great (except for a little hesitation). Turned it off then reconnected the vaccum line and it still started. WTF.. After i let it set for a while then it only cranks. Any ideas? are there any sensors that will cause this to happen?
i'm having the same problem. not to hijack your post, but i here a sparatic clicking near the fuel rails, when the ignition is in the on position. what does this mean?
JJ, is your fan running when it is in the on position? mine is and i can't pull codes.
You can't fool the laws of Physics. When it won't start, your engine isn't getting some combination of spark, fuel , air. Put a fuel pressure gauge on the shrader valve on the fuel rail and see what it reads when it won't start. With no vacuum line on the FPR, fuel pressure is maximum, maybe the FPR is defective and shuts off the fuel with a vacuum after it sits overnight. The fuel pressure gauge will show this.
