[PLUG WIRES] Did I get a bad set?
AFTER I get the old wires and plugs out (PAIN in the a:mad :mad !), I look at the MSD wires, and they look too short!
I try to route one of the shortest ones (there's two, same length) to #1 cylinder and #2, and it won't even reach to #2, #1 it's strung like piano wire. There's 3 medium-length, and 4 long length. ALL seem to be shorter than stock.
So did I just get screwed and get the box packer that just didn't care that day, or is is supposed to be like that? The box was labeled specfically for 92-96 LT1/LT4s...
Thanks all!

I did a printout of the custom plug set specs and went to the garage.
Measured the wires, and it was nowhere near a match for ANY set they had listed.
So then, I goes to get the speedshop receipt just to check that I ordered the right part. Lo and behold, there's another plug wire laying just outside the box!  Waitaminnit! I dragged NINE wires out just a minute ago, I counted! Yep, I got the right set, but there are TEN freaking wires!!! WTF is the extra one for?
At any rate, ALL the wires are too short according to "the specs" from MSD. But here's the kicker: THEY FIT FINE, and were a bit TOO long for a couple wires!!!
And it runs MUCH better. No redline stumble anymore! I think these plug wires and spark plugs I pulled have seen the full 134,000 miles she's got, they look BAD awful.
Lastly, MAN THAT WAS A PAIN IN THE ROYAL A:mad:mad!!! I had to yank the AC compressor, the ASR motor, the tensioner pulley, and tons of nit-noid crap just to get to the plugs! ARGH! But it's done now. :)
