I have been running one of Ed Wright's Fastchips for about 4 years now with no problems. Sorry you are having trouble but I am very satisfied.

Aloha,
Larry

ed burn't a custom chip for 24# injectors and some other mods i was told by many companys that burn they want to know what gears, if it's a stick or auto and so on ed wright didn't ask me a thing he said he's chips aren't burn't that way for $400.00 they should be tuned to your car not every car out there my headers were getting very very hot my car wouldn't idle in open loop i even had a scanner on it when i was driving to give him data so he could correct it for the second chip he made that one was worse i guess it didn't work out for me i know a few people that had problems with he's chips but that was after the fact.

$400  and what happens if you have to send it back? ..... more money right :yesnod:

I have a ski_dwn_it chip. aka Jesse. If the price is still the same as last month it's $250 for UNLIMITED burns. (on the same chip of course)

You guys might want to contact him. He's very accurate.

Ed did the first 3 chips in my car. Did you not print off the order form off of his site? It outlines exactly what is done to your car from gears to cam. I am satisfied with mine, although I do my own stuff now I would reccomend him. I paid 350 for mine and all that was wrong with it was that it was too rich on start up and too rich from 4800 rpms up.

I just started doing my own chip burning andmodifying, and have to say it isway cooler.just gotta read and read and read, and see what , what means..Fun too with the right equipment/software.

Also what mods do you have? Even with a mismatched chip your car should run 'ok'.. Maybe there is something wrong with your ecm? Could be..
I've heard good things about fastchips, just their prices are bonkers.

My first chip was an Ed Wright chip and it was pretty good. It was a tad rich but further mods offset that. I've since started doing my own tuning because it's cheaper that way :)
