hi all. saved enough of my pennies to do a few minor mods. planning on long tube headers ( tpis or hookers, will do a search and see which ones are the least amount of hassle). an accel base manifold, port my stock runners and plenum. may be able to squeeze the piggy bank enough for some 1.6 roller rockers. dont have the bux for a sr. maybe later.
couple of questions: will the stock throttle body be enough?? and most importantly, will my 85 ecm be able to handle this stuff?? will i lose much low end torque??
thanks for any input here guys. not looking for a race car, just want a little better response and a few ponies. thanks again, regards, fng
Re: will an 85 ecm handle these mods?? (Corvette0096)
thank you sir. was kinda worried it may not do the job. have read where you have to read these ecm's with a sundial. dont have any plans at the moment for a cam change. at 56 my reactions arent what they were :D and this thing will go sideways in 1st and 2nd as it is. just looking for a nicely tuned and breathing unit. thanks again, regards, fng
