Default Valve cover gaskets?
has anyone here replaced them yourself? i got a small leak and the price the shop wanted for labor was crazy i understand it takes a little while but how difficult is it for say two guys and a six pack?

Pretty Easy, I'd give them one wrench on the difficulty scale, passenger side is a 15 minute job, drivers side a little longer to move the brace going to the AC compressor and Alternator. Valve cover gasket just pulls out and new fits in the groove of the cover.

Change the valve cover gaskets yourself, they are a peice of cake to do.

Definite do it yourself. I used the spray tack stuff with Mr Gasket gaskets, no more leaks - from the valve covers at least! :jester
