OK so I don't think my clutch is slipping. I am heading for the Dyno in Oct to find out how many ponies I am spitting out behind the rear wheels. So I got to thinking:
What if I am just to used to the HP out of my LT4! What's next...... 383?
What kind of job is this? Are there any published articles for this mod?
a 383 is just a 350 bored out .030" more and a 400 crank added in
You need a machine shop to bore the block, and they make 3.75" stroke cranks for the 350's medium journal. Look in Summit Racing catalogs or online at their website for parts.
Sorry it took so long to reply. Thanks for the notes. I was just pondering on my short fall of enthusiasm in my Vette's performance. What I think I need to do is hit the Dyno to figure out were I am at then maybe do some track runs. From there I will ponder what I need/want to do next if anything.
I will be back to ask questions on what I want to do. I usually browse 2 to 3 times a week.
