86 ECM update and AutoXray Scanner
I have an AutoXray Propack scanner. It will not work properly with my 86 coupe. Iwas wondering if I replaced the ECM with the updated 16198259 unit, would the scanner work properly. Has anyone had any luck with AutoXrays and 86's. I've heard that 86 is a hard year to scan properly for everybody.

Yes, 86 is a hard year to scan. Apparently there was some inconsistency at the factory that year with wiring causing scan tools to sometimes need slight modification to work.
