A/C electronic control in 88Vette
My A/C electronic temperature controls in my 88 Vette are blinking, I would like to know if anyone else has this problem and a solution to it. I changed out the unit but the problen is still there......thanks

If it's a blinking outside air temp light, that indicates a component problem. If so, hold the ext temp button and push the auto button. Advance the display until it reads 08 by pushing the warm button. Read any codes by pushing the cool button. The codes are: 01, air mix valve open; 02 outside temp sensor open; 04 outside temp sensor shorted; 08 inside temp sensor open; 16 inside temp sensor shorted.
If the whole unit is flashing, check the ground. It's in the drivers footwell and a separate lead to the connector which is ground for about 30 other devices. Make sure the terminal has two leads and that one isn't disconnected.
