Clutch problems help!
Car has been driving fine, but today when I went to run up to the store, second stop out of my drive way, about 30 yards, I push in the clutch and there is a little 'pop' noise/feeling and the clutch got really soft and then 75% of the way thru the pedal stroke there is a hard spot, engagment is pretty much right off the floor, I havent driven it enough to know if its slipping or not since it happened, but I drove about 50 mile on sunday and it was fine. Any ideas?? I would like to know before I start ordering a clutch kit :sad:

Ryan,
1st... whats the fluid level?
2nd.. can you remove the dust shield and get a look inside?
my first guess is that maybe the clutch fork or pivot is on its way out.

level is good
removed dust seal and its right where it should be
its nasty and black so a fluid change is the first thing I am gonna try
