Digital dash?
The shift up light flashes (before its supposed to) when the car is either moving or at idle, the range will jump up and down as well. Also while the car is at idle the speedometer will jump up and down (when the car isn't moving)and my mpg is all over the place. What is going on here? Has this happened to anyone before? :confused:

At night does it brighten and dim at random? Thats another common problem. I had it on my 85, and various readouts just going flaky on occassion. The bad news is it was old "cold" solder joints at the board connectors. Over time they just loose good connection. Unless you have experience with some delicate assembly and electronics soldering you should send it in to be reconditioned. If all of your glass is in good shape, it shouldn't cost too much. If you do it yourself, you will risk breaking a glass and they are getting VERY expensive.
