changing front carpet on a 91
Has anyone changed their fromt carpet out there? I bought new ones.
any special tips to make the job easier ? Which pieces first, how to remove old glue, door panel etc...

Simple job. First remove the seats, then the door sills.
Remove shifter console plate, remove radio bezel.
Then the console pieces(there are a lot of hidden screws) once all the screws are out, the panel just slides out.
Then the floor pieces themselves will lift right out.
On the drivers side there is a small triangular plastic piece held in by a philips head screw.
The only pieces that are glued are the sides of the console. You can just pull the carpet off and then reglue the new pieces.
Installation is just the opposite, start with the floor pieces, then the sides of the console, then door sills. and of course the radio bezel and shifter console plate.
Should be about an hour from start to finish(not including the glue job).

I think I've seen you at the challenge series. I have the turquoise vette that's
always there and loses In the first round (damm those red lights) But I always have a great time.
