Default Brakes failed inspection

OK. Here is the plan...
My rear brakes failed inspection due to uneven braking force. While I hope to repair that problem, I'll also upgrade a bit. This far I've ordered:
New rear calipers
Set of Stainless Steel braided brakelines
Green Stuff pads (for the front)

I'll flush the brake fluid while I'm at it(72,000 mi on car).

Any hints, tips, or suggestions for me?

Part of me wishes they would actually inspect vehicles here, makes our roads safer. The other part of me, which removed the emissions equipment, is glad they don't.

Those are the things I would check. I guess the rear pads where in good shape?

Yes. Rear pads have about 1000 mi on them. The front pads are at about the half way point on wear but I thought I'd replace them while I have everything apart. I'm not happy with the brake fade on the OEM pads.
