Default Speeds and Distances

I realize that this subject comes up a lot, but mine is slightly different, I believe.

I've heard that stock L98 can reach 150-155 MPH.
I've heard that stock LT1 can reach 160-165 MPH.
I've heard that stock LT4 can reach 165-175 MPH.
I've heard that stock LT5 can reach 180-185 MPH.

I've heard a lot of thing, hehe.

Okay, they can reach these speeds, but in how much distance from a...

1) Standing start
2) 50 MPH roll
3) 80 MPH roll

Ok, now your asking a little bit to much now.
Can you make these questions a less complicated.
Whats your next question going to be how fast the car would go if they all driving down a 20 degree hill with a 30mph tail wind with the temp at 35degres F. running with a bottle of octane boost. :)

...and an airfoil...

No, I didn't think it was too complicated a question. Basically I just wanted to know how long it took the L98 and other engines to reach their top speeds.

I am most curious about the L98 though. I 've heard 150-155 MPH, and from a stand still, would it take like 3 miles to reach that speed or so?

Just bugging.

If you figure just guessing..
it takes
5sec to hit 60mph
8/9to hit 84mph
13.5/14 to get to about 100/105mph

i'd figure about 35-45 seconds approx. to top speed considering when shifting to fifth slows the increasing mph rate.
Someone will chime in with the exact ratio.

If you check 0-100 mph times, you'll see the huge difference between the LS1/6 motors and TPI motors. L83 is far worse than L98 up to 100.
