Last weekend, I had the little radiator hose that goes to the throttle body spring a leak. I replaced it with a heater hose and its working fine now. I hope thats good enough.
It got me thinking though... In California, I dont think there is a need for the hose to go thru the TB. And I dont really see the need to have all those extra hoses. Do we need them? And can we just plug those up? or will it not work? And what about this TB bypass kit? How is that installed? It does seem like a frikkin rip for the kit and like I said, I dont really see a need for the extra hoses. :smash:
Don't plug it. You can bypass it. I did my 92 awhile back. I ran a heater hose from upper radiator hose accross engine compartment to other side and used a heater hose adaptor to attach it to larger hose. Cost less than 5 bucks for everything and it looks cleaner than if I would have used the adapter at the tb.
