The convertible has a factory cross brace underneath.
The camber brace stiffens front suspension geometry by boxing in the suspension towers. It works pretty well. I have noticed a decrease in bump steer, and a more stable feel in general since I added a camber brace to my 88 convertible. Well woth the money and fairly easy to install.
As was said, you have a factory x-brace under the car. The Camber Brace connects to the upper a-arm.
Gary....The "brace" I was referring to...or what looks like a brace goes across from one side of the frame in front to the other...albeit on the bottom. Thanks for the info!
