Default Re: LT4 Hot Cam Question (tjwong)

I have a L98 stroked to a 383 with Shaved heads, FlowMaster Cat back and Gutted Pre-cats.

I'm not planning on changing the cam since its to much engine work, but I would really want to put another type of Intake since the stock one is way to restrictive on my 383.

I've hurd plenty about the SuperRam and MiniRam.. but witch one would be best for my application? witch one would match with my setup? I would also like to keep my options open for a possible futur head porting and more aggressive cam.

LT4 Cam is a bit more aggressive. LT1 lsa=117 LT4 lsa=115

(Both LT4/LT1) Fuel runners are a lot shorter, tuned for high rpm gain. explaining the lack of gain of torque over the L98 but higher HP numbers.

LT4: Stronger yet lighter (hollow stemed) values to handle the higher redline.
