Hi guys, I know there has been many discussion's about this... to be honnest there has been to many.
I just want some suggestions because I will be changing my Intake this winter. I have a 88 Vette 383 stroker with shaved aluminum heads, stock Cam, Cat-back FlowMaster Exaust, Gutted Pre-cats.
hmmm we'll? I'm asking again because I have a 383 with stock cam.
So? I honnestly don't understand all the reasonning behing the superram and miniram.
I know that if you want power in the higher rpm ranges you should go with the miniram, and if you want power in the lower rpm ranges to go with the super ram.
During the search process, you should also find that Single Plane EFI setups are also a consideration. I have heard those will typically work better on big cube engines tho. I havent found enough information to show it to work well in small cube engines.
I was in MrNuke's(I call it the bolt on express car) car today, and it pulls quite nicely for a car with God awful heads(stock '85 iron) and well chosen bolt ons.
