Re-install coup top
I have an 85 coup. When I try to re-istall the top I can get the two front bolts to thread but only the driver's side rear bolt to thread. I tested the threads on the rear bolt holes and are 'OK.' Apparently the body and mounts are out of line. is there a way to re- mount the top e.g. jack up a one rear side etc.

All the mounting points are adjustable. The brackets on the top are adjustable, and the brackets on the car are adjustable. Also, have you tried to just get all the bolts started, without snugging any of them up?

I find that I have to get the back ones in almost all the way to get the front ones started. You might have to tug a bit on it.
