Default Fuel filter and fittings rust issue

I was just changing my oil when I noticed rust on the inline and return fuel lines (those spring parts). I looked further and noticed that two of the fittings one going to the fuel filter and one going to the return pipe are rusting. I noticed that the metal strap holding the fuel filter in place has rust on it.

Obviously this is a result of the condensation dripping onto those components from the AC and being here in Florida.

My questions: Should I be concerned about this and 1) wipe them down and spray WD40 on them or 2) replace the filter and the inline pipe up to the quick disconnect at the rail?

Is this normal? Doesn't seem like that to me.

Part of my concern, obviously rust is a deterioration of the metal(s), if left alone it seems that it would eventually self destruct causing a fuel delivery failure and leak.

Your thoughts and comments would be welcomed.

Here's a picture of the filter.

Never hurts to replace the fuel filter, clean up the bracket and pipe then throw some paint on it. Looks like surface rust, probably more ugly than damage now.
