Default 84 help

Can anyone with an 84 help me out?
I need to know the color of the wire that goes to the coolant temperature sending unit (not the fan switch on the site of the block). I am just about done wiring the new LT1 in and this is one of the last wires, so any help would be great.

The diagram I have only showes the wires that go to the ECM and they are yellow and black. I know these are not the rite wires because the gadge still worked when I had a carb on the old L83 and the ECM removed. I remember installing the sending unit on the edelbrock intake but cant remember what the wire color was or what the conector looked like. I have removed a ton of wiring from the car that was conected to the L83 ECM but am sure I didn't remove this one. I need the wire color for the wire that runs from the temp gadge in the dash cluster to the sending unit on the motor.

Word for word from the Haynes manualis.
Circuit 35 is dark green = ground engine coolant temp. Sw.or ECM controled hot.
Circuit 36 is light green = Ground eng.temp.sw.controlled cold.
Circuit 37 is light green = Ground,eng.metal temp.sw.controlled hot.
Circuit 410 is yellow = ECM to coolant temp sensor.
Now just to confuse matters. When I look at the actual wiring diagram it shows a blue wire to a coolant sensor.
If you want me to look at my 84 I will.Just tell me which sensor to look at. I know there is one between cylds.1&3 and theres one between 5&7.And theres one in the front of the passenger side head.

The sensor/sender in the left side head, between cyls 1 & 3 is the sender for the guage. The wire is blue. The fan switch between cyls 5 & 7 in the right side head has a brown wire attached. The sender in the front of the intake manifold feeds the ECM. It has a yellow wire and a black wire (2 wires) connected to it. This is 1984, specific information. I cannot speak for the wire colors for other years, but GM moved the switches/sensors for various years. I hope this helps with the swap. Good luck, and...
