Throttle body by-pass.. Why?
:seeya
Cooler air induction; cooler air = denser fuel charge.
EASY as hell to do; get a brass joiner 1/2" to 3/4" I THINK by memory and join the hose from RHS of TB to hose under TB (Use hoseclamps too obviously)...Thats it.
Then open your airbox lid, put a K&N filter there...use a cooler thermostadt...Higher pressure radiator cap...etc etc...all cheap mods that add up in HP and even if you can't feel it; it's one of those nice to know improvements.

But anyway, all you have to do is take the hose coming from the passenger's side of the throttle body and disconnect it (be careful, tiny bit of coolant will come out, make sure car's cold), then track it to underneath the covers on top, the plastic pieces, remove that end as well. You won't need that any more so you can ditch it or save it for extra parts. Remove the end from the driver's side of the throttle body (both should be near the bottom of it), and route the hose so that that end now connects to where the latter end of the other hose was (the engine end, not the throttle body end) and connect it there. Tighten it up and bam you're done.
Imagine a hose running through the throttle body, all you're doing is making it run around that link instead of through it. Simple as pie.
Check the tech write ups if you still don't get it.

:smash: I just disconnected the hose on the driver's side, and moved it to the metal line that runs along the head on the pass side eliminating the little hose that goes in between..
Now those wheel stands are much easier!

Graph of an fbody shows about a 3HP gain after the bypass.
