Mini Ram owners...running rich
Since the install of the Mini Ram to my '86 Vette...I might have driven it a total of 600 miles. (too busy to enjoy it this year)
I have one concern...engine seems to run extremely rich now, but I don't know if that's a bad thing. Going through the gears, and shifting at 6200 RPM, all is fine and very intoxicating.
However, what do I do about this rich burning of fuel that is a concern?
Wondering what your approach was if you had the same problem?
Thanks,
John

It sounds like a chip tune is all you need.

Try to stick with a person that has tuned and is familiar with a Miniram if at all possible, they are different than the Superram.
TPIS is burning me a chip and has a 90 money back warranty. I should have it Friday.

You could have it dyno tuned for less than the $575 that TPIS charges

I didn't see that either. Call TPIS and have them hook you up! Seems like you gave them enough of your hard earned cash :yesnod:

I appreciate everyones replies.
I actually thought there might be an adjustment or two one could make, prior to me calling on TPIS.
Since there are no other suggestions, I'll do exactly that...give 'em a call, and send it back for an adjustment.
